My story

My father was a roofing contractor for 13 years. Ever since I was a child, I’ve seen many times every month where I walked home from school and saw him sitting on our sofa, frustrated and defeated for losing a sale. He owned a very small shop and he was the only one working day and night most of the time, losing a sale was devastating. Not only for him but also for my family. Even after going to college, I can never forget seeing how upset he was. If I could go back, done things to make his life easier, I would without any hesitation.

Growing up

Growing up, I founded Ccino together with two close friends of mine, we know that contractors are losing sales every month because either the homeowners think the quotes are too high or they cannot afford it right away, often times they are the same problem. We wanted it to be easier for contractors, and it was something I wished I could accomplish years earlier.

It’s also unfortunate to see other financing companies locking contractors in a high-fee subscription contract, with high cancellation fee and sign-up fees. I know we can make a difference and bring a fair, just pricing for all contractors.

Our changes

That’s why we have made our decision late April to change our pricing plans. Instead of only having a subscription plan, we have added a new per-loan plan that has the lowest per-dealer plan in the industry - for businesses such as my dad’s to get their foot into the door and stop losing any sales. Here’s our updated pricing:

  • Plan 1: Per-Loan. For every successful loan generated to your customers through Ccino, and most importantly, after your customers pay you, we take 2.9% to support our business.

  • Plan 2: Subscription. We want to make supporting your business as simple as possible. In our subscription plan, you have the ability to offer unlimited loans without having to pay any per-loan fees.

The best thing is, you can switch between these plans freely based on the needs of your business. No commitments and no switching fees.

What this pricing model means

We genuinely believe our previous subscription plan had good intentions, but it also excluded small size contractors from offering financing. Now with our two different pricing plans, we can work with contractors of all sizes and help their businesses grow.

From the very foundation of our business, we believe in building long-term relationships with our customers, and building a business that our customers will love so much that they will not leave. Our pricing change marked our principle, and we look forward to helping more contractors grow their businesses and be happier when they go home every day, knowing that they will keep more sales and delight their families.
